About me

Hello! Welcome to my art world! I am Niki Hu, an illustrator, animator, designer and dancer currently based in New York.

 

Graduated with an accounting and finance background, I worked in business industry for a couple of years before I decided to join the MFA Illustration in Fashion Institute of Technology, and then ITP in NYU. The experience in business gave me a different perspective of seeing art and design. I like bringing people happiness and chill moods. Most of my work are digital but I also use traditional materials. I also like exploring different mediums and making crafts. I enjoy creating works that offer fun and a sense of freedom, allowing people to momentarily escape the mundane daily life. This love for art also propelled my passion for experience and game design. Whether I'm crafting cool patterns that make people smile or bringing digital characters to life, my goal is to add a dash of magic to everyday life. I hope my work not only entertains but also sparks some serious thought about our world. Still have a long way to go.
